Kevin, AD 54-26-02 also allows the use of quadrants manufactured by four other companies. These are listed in the AD. My coupe has the Met-Co-Aire Co. quadrant marked "Met-Co-Aire Dwg No. 514 change 'A' installed and noted in the log books. This information is cast into the bottom of the quadrant between the curved front face and the control column attachment point. I did not notice this until I removed the column for refurbishment and cleaned the quadrant. The accumulation of dirt and oil had built up and filled in the recessed area where the marking was located. I also believe that the only difference in the old and new quadrants is the width and radius of the grooves for the cables. Not positive about that as I have not personally measured it.
