Hi All...
On the topic of preheating, I've tried a couple of
methods which seam to work up here in the north. One is to hook a piece of scat
to a hot air gun and direct it in the open cowl just under the oil tank, and
cover with a cowl with a home made engine blanket of sleepng bags. Thought two
is using a small automotive heater. The kind that one would put inside the
passengers compartment to warm it up. A couple of hours was all that was
required. A question, has anyone ever tried an oil dipstick type of heater
element. I couldn't purchase one here in Canada, but I've heard that they are
available at the local automotive stores in the U.S.
Your thoughts.
Cheers
