Hi,
I am currently replacing the lower firewall on my Ercoupe. The larger
rivets came out nicely. I drilled out the heads with a number drill
(forget what size) drilled and punched out the remainder of the rivet. I
am going to do the same thing with the smaller rivets on the firewall but if
anyone knows the correct number size I would appreciate it. The drill is
approximately.096 (3/32). I know that number drills should be used for drilling
out AV rivets but I am not sure what the proper number size is.
Any help would be appreciated - not expected. Probably a long shot
that someone knows this off the cuff.
