Gary, I've flown a coupe for 8 years now and might add that  given your
wife and your weight plus some baggage of about 60 lbs you should be able
to cruise  about 100  or so and from about 2.5- 3 hrs.So that part of your
equation  is OK. But  tall grass and a  shortish grass strip puts another
spin on it. An 85 Hp coupe has sort of a shallow climb couple that with
tall grass might be a problem AND a short strip well that says to us that
a
90 hp coupe  would be a better choice for you they climb better- cruise is
the same due to the prop.The coupe is really a fun bird to fly.I would
think  that a 90- 100 hp would help you out of  the part of the time the
grass is tall better than an 85. What say you group  ??  Dennis 99564 in
