Gary, I've flown a coupe for 8 years now and might add that given your wife and your weight plus some baggage of about 60 lbs you should be able to cruise about 100 or so and from about 2.5- 3 hrs.So that part of your equation is OK. But tall grass and a shortish grass strip puts another spin on it. An 85 Hp coupe has sort of a shallow climb couple that with tall grass might be a problem AND a short strip well that says to us that a 90 hp coupe would be a better choice for you they climb better- cruise is the same due to the prop. The coupe is really a fun bird to fly.I would think that a 90- 100 hp would help you out of the part of the time the grass is tall better than an 85. What say you group ?? Dennis 99564 in ILL The information contained in this message may be CONFIDENTIAL and is for the intended addressee only.
