In my Ercoupe I used only 100LL with 4 ounces of MMO to 10 gal. of fuel. I was tying down for free so though I should at least buy the airport's fuel. In my Aeronca I use 3 tanks of auto gas to 1 tank of 100LL to keep the total lead content down. Engine runs great and has clean plugs at cleaning time. I also use MMO in it (yea...I know....but have been for 46 years so far.) In 3 years and about 500 hrs between the 2 planes, no fouled plugs or stuck valves either way. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Greg Bullough" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, October 29, 2004 4:43 PM Subject: RE: [COUPERS-TECH] ercoupe on 100LL > ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- > > > At 04:39 PM 10/29/2004, David Abrams wrote: > >I use TCP in every tank of 100LL and also 4 oz of Marvel Mystery Oil for > >every 10 gallons > > > >I have no idea if it works but I have not had a valve stick sine I started > >(about 9 years ago).
