I wish the AOPA would send that message to FBOs. They seem to be real concerned with the demise of 100LL, because all high-ticket airplanes will be in trouble. But they don't seem to give a tinker's damn about the demise of 80 octane and the fact that we can't get a proper fuel to run our planes on at most FBO's. They bleat about 'insurance' concerns, etc., etc. I asked one of the local FBOs, who sells 100LL and has a tanker of MoGas for their Katana trainers to sell me some of that. No dice. "So," I said, "even though you HAVE the right fuel for my airplane the only fuel you'll, sell me is the wrong fuel, have I got that right?"
