Today we have found yet another thing that we do not
understand. While checking the
slack/free play in the ailerons, we found slack in the center control quadrant.
We have found about 1/8” of
movement in the aileron bell crank before the rudder bell crank moves.
We have replaced the AN4-15 bolt that goes through the
rudder bell crank but the slack is still there. After a lot of looking and trying to
figure it out we have yet to determine how the aileron
bell crank is secured to the shaft, or where the slack is at.
Does anybody have any ideas?
