Hi John for everyone here, as we talked about this afternoon, I checked
with Tim at Buldoc and it is the right carb for the coupe, gravity feed.

Maybe we should start with a more detailed description of the symptoms. If
the electric pump is feeding the header tank and the header tank is gravity
feeding the carb then the pump cannot be causing he problem. there are 2
variants of the Stromberg carb, though, depending on if it is gravity feed
or pressure. Could the A&P have installed the pressure feed carb thinking
it was the right one since you have a fuel pump? the wrong carb could lead
to fuel starvation at high power settings.
