The SB is 56. This is also covered in AD 52-02-02 and is to be done every annual inspection. The limits are 7/16 with weights and 5/16 without. Interestingly note 4 of this AD states to check the markings on the airspeed instrument. I wonder why it is stuck on the bottom of this aileron AD but how many of you don't have the proper markings on your airspeed instrument and realize that your aircraft is not airworthy per this aileron AD? I know mine wasn't when I got it. And that the culprit is usually the bell-crank in the wing root that is the last thing before the aileron push-rod. It gets play in the bearing. I've found that, if they're even 3/16" loose, I get a sort of oscillation in the wings at about 121MPH IAS. Not encouraging. Can you say 'flutter?' Take it down to 'real tight' and it goes away. They seem to last about 300 hours. Easy replacement.
