No one piped in, huh?  As far as I can tell, Ercoupes were intended to have the filler neck on the left. 

 

Better never than late??? I'll pipe in. :-)

 

Perhaps with the difficulty of finding serviceable kidney tanks an 0-200 tank was installed???
