Guys - I have to push my Coupe into its hanger - uphill.  Now that the weather has turned cold and rainy/snowy that is getting to be more of a chore than I really care to deal with.  Consequently, I have been toying with attaching a winch to the rear of the hanger and pulling the Coupe in with the rear tie down.

 

However, I do know that the rear tie down was designed to do just that - tie the plane DOWN.

I am concerned about the lateral loads the tie down ring will handle.  Does anyone have any experience with this?
