So now I have found a bottle of the marvel mystery oil.
How much do I add to the oil?

None. It is a solvent and will reduce the effectiveness of the very good
oil you put in the engine. Try upgrading your oil instead. Exxon Elite is
the new 'hot stuff.'

See what the guys at Sacramento Sky Ranch, one of the best shops in
the country say (which agrees with what Lycoming and Continental say).
Note the bit about killing your camshaft.

How much to the gas?

None. Use TCP instead. Don't carry the TCP in the airplane...you can skip it
when you're away from home.

Putting MMO in the fuel just gives the insurance company ammunition not
to pay and the FAA ammunition to violate you in the event that it is found
in your fuel (and it WILL get picked up in the lab) following an engine-failure
related accident.

OT Question of the Day:  How come Nash Bridges cruises around San Francisco
city streets with his big MoPar revving (which probably could benefit from MMO
in the gas) at what sounds like 4000 RPM, which is both noisy and uncomfortable
to say nothing of twitchy?
