Looking at my previous notes cut and paste, I see I hand-wrote a mistake. Previously, I said the green arc should go up to maneuvering speed, 108 mph, but thats not right. The green arc on the airspeed indicator should go from the lower end of the power off stall clean (though it doesnt make a difference for a Coupe) up to maximum structural cruise speed which is, for most Coupes, 114 mph. VA VFE VLE VLO VNE VNO VR VS0 VS1 VX VY Design maneuvering speed Maximum flap extend speed Maximum landing gear extend speed Maximum landing gear operating speed Never exceed speed Maximum structural cruising speed Rotation speed The power-off stalling speed or minimum flight speed in landing configuration The power-off stalling speed (clean) with flaps and landing gear retracted Best angle of climb speed Best rate of climb speed/Best Glide Speed So, white arc doesnt apply to Coupes since we have no flaps. Green arc lower end is the slowest airspeed you can measure minimum flying speed. You can go up and flight-test for this number. It ought to be in the ballpark of 50 mph for a 415-C. (Note that if its showing much faster airspeed at your minimum flying speed, you should do careful testing of your airspeed indicator they often get way off when they age.) The green arc ends and the yellow arc begins at maneuvering speed which is, as I remember, 108 mph. Check this number in your aircrafts owners manual. The top of the yellow arc and the redline are 144 mph.
