Eventually, I found it impossible to get correct performance from the old
style regulator. I found a good electronic replacement rated at 12
amps. I think it is certified for the C120, but not the coupe. My
guy says it's no problem to get approval for this installation. I'll
give more details if you want. I think it is Ziftronics, purchased
from Aerotech in Louisville for about $144. I've been happy.
You can get the same thing rated at other currents.
