Earl, John Wright, Jr., rebuilds tanks to like-new quality. He replaces any metal that needs to be replaced. Sometimes, the only thing kept is the outlet and filler. The resulting tank looks new to my eye. He did one of my tanks - very beautifully. I don't think he uses any sloshing. In fact, I think he mentioned once that sloshing isn't legal on our tanks but if he said it, it was a casual comment that I can't confirm. If anyone has positive information about the legality of sloshing Coupe tanks, you might like to comment. Still, a sloshed tank is inferior to a rebuilt tank. John, Jr., has a day job AND he restores and paints planes on the side, too, so there's a limit on how many tanks he can rebuild but I'd suggest you contact him. His contact info is: John & Kathy Wright 5813 Old Jack Rd.
