If you are new to this, or haven't propped before, take a few "practice swings" (without actually swinging the prop). If it's worth doing before hitting a golf ball, it's certainly worth doing before trying this. Also, start with the engine primmed and no throttle. My plane will prop nd idle fine with the throttle closed. Don't take a chance on the thing roaring to life at 1200 RPM! There are actual cases of airplanes flying off on their own!
