Yes, that is the way it was listed on the records, but the Eng was changed to a C-85 the prop and all the D model mods C/W and listed in the logs ,as well as the plane has a split elevator installed .So when the new plate was made it was listed as a D model wish I could fly her as a C.I am going through the plane now having the control cables checked and certified ,A set of repaired of King radios ,Transponder & Elt & antenas. The Instruments came back in Nov ,from Rudy instruments repaired & tagged. I had some folks in Houston Ovlrhaul my prop and a new tag . I have a new nose bowl an spinner ready to install with new floor boards side windows an a new nose gear so still got to get the engine ready but going to try and fly it some day. When I got it home I found a lot of the Engine cowling was either missing or bent or lose. thier was a engine oil temp gage installed so thinking the other guy's had a tempiture problem .I read some where about the sponge on the top cowll was critical on the cooling There was a pice missing that goes between the cylinders awa the lf side oil cooler side plate missing . I have replaced all these and want to run it before i sent the carburator off .The old generator needs reuilding .What are you guys thoughts about the alternator replacement?is it worth it cost wise or should I stick with the generator?I have new plug wires allready. When I went To get Tigger I had a copy of Eds Prebuy insp but I thought I could do a lot of the work and it would be all right . Looking back Any body going to purchase a plane , get a professional A & P to do the check(listen to him) and Do Not Let The I Want That Plane Bugs get the best of common sense as it gets to be a choirAl Tanze4y & tigger N99008
