Hi Don::

One thing I forgot.  Even T/C Motors did NOT modify the rocker arm castings well enough to qualify for the return to the non horsepower limiting timing.  This was a mystery to me, till I realized that they would loose the PMA anointment of they made any casting changes on the new cylinders.  The Superior "Millennium" cylinders do not have that restriction, although you do have to change the inner exhaust valve springs.

Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] SLICK MAGS COST

----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----

$1800 sounds like a lot . For reference, a highly - respected shop here in Florida quotes a major overhaul on my
C-90 engine at $11,000. This includes new Slick Mags and harness, new Teledyne Continental cylinders and pistons,
new fuel pump, overhauled carburator, and the usual plugs, gaskets, paint job, etc.  I don't know what the breakout price for the Slick Mags is, however, removing and re-installing the engine is not included ; add'l cost is $1000. Their warranty is identical to a new Continental engine.
