Ron: I think it is possible to get 337 approval to replace the Kohler valve
if it is necessary. I have obtained a brass valve with the same type of
attachments as the Kohler, only it is one size larger. This valve came from
American Champion, has their part number on it, and is eligible for installation
on all of their airplanes. I think it would be a simple thing to add fittings
that make it fit in place of the Kohler, but I have not had the need to do so
yet.
