Hey Jeff: I recently took the Poly Fiber training course, and was told that
Poly Fiber only needs to be overlapped 1 inch, for the glue to do its job. I
believe this will take care of the requirement for stitches on the trailing
edge. I believe the screws in the bottom curvature of the leading edge is a good
idea. It will certainly help the cloth form more to the curvature.
Remember, our wings were put together when cotton
covering was the normal thing. Now we have some other options, and cotton is not
one of them.
Good Luck
