I agree, even simple green has discouraged the use of their product on aluminum unless very strict rinsing instructions were used. However this NEW product " Extreme Simple Green for aircraft cleaning " has been reportedly specifically developed for use in cleaning aircraft and use on aluminum. Two entirely different products. Please visit their web site and read the literature. I have a piece of 2024-T3 aluminum soaking in this product just to satisfy myself that it will not corrode it before I use it on my aircraft. If it does then I'll use it to clean the BBQ or my MGB engine compartment.
