Chuck. Do you experience oil loss through the breather with your setup?

Nice plane! as far as the breather goes, mine does not exit the cowl, its actually inside the cowl near the bottom......not sure if thats good or bad.....

One of the planes featured was our Ercoupe 415C, N93334.  I sent it in about a year ago and they called me about a month ago and asked for a picture.  They lost the one I sent originally.

It was a good write-up.

P.S. We just went through a problem of excess oil coming out of the breather but two separate A& Ps couldn't find anything wrong.  One adjusted the breather pipe as it exits the lower engine compartment to eliminate any possible siphon effect.  He also drilled a hole in the pipe above the exit.  That seemed to help.  We flew it about an hour and didn't lose any oil.  Maybe that's the fix we have been looking for.

We switched from 15W50 to 100W thinking that may also help.

Not really a tech question, but as I read my EAA rag last night, it was nice to see not one but TWO coupe's in the project/restoration pic's....
