Assuming the setup you decide to use comes with an STC, you need to
file form 337. Otherwise you will need to obtain a field
approval. (The latter is NOT the recommended course to follow)

The most common way to do this is to install the F&M TAF-L oil filter
kit. Skyport sells it for $199.95
3. Does this need to be done by an AP?
No, but an A&P needs to fill out the form 337 and sign it and also an
IA needs to inspect the installation and sing the 337. These could
both be the same person.
