This is only partially true. As someone else pointed out, the actuator arms are specific to the Continental installation. Also, the pumps are (were) Continental parts, not Ercoupe parts

Overhaul kits were available at the local Western Auto, etc.

Maybe, but there are a lot of variations between the various pumps. Different diaphragm assemblies, pressure springs and arms, depending on the specific application. the consequences of mixing and matching could lead to mechanical failure of the pump and a premature engine overhaul, so be careful out there!
