I stand corrected.
I even went further and found several FAA FSDO notes
stating in no uncertain terms that an anti-collision light is REQUIRED of all US
Certified and Registered aircraft. If anyone can answer it 100%
definitively, it is them.
Time to go over all my IFR books again... looks like
I'm getting rusty!

(c) Visual flight rules (night). For VFR flight at night, the following instruments and equipment are required:
(1) Instruments and equipment specified in paragraph (b) of this section.
(2) Approved position lights.
(3) An approved aviation red or aviation white anticollision light system on all U.S.-registered civil aircraft.Syd

I see from an online photo that you do have navigation (position) lights, so you are good to go for night flights.------------------------------------------------------------

Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] Strobed lights etc----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----Hello again,Boohoo! Turns out that in order to get checked out for night flying my coupe needs some kind of rotating beacon or strobe light of some kind. Don't particularly like that huge underbelly thing I've seen on some coupes. Spruce has a plethora of lights. Any suggestions as to what kind and where to mount it? Inexpensive would be nice. Thanks guys,EdN3396H============================================================================== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm Search the archives on http://escribe.com/aviation/coupers-tech/============================================================================== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm Search the archives on http://escribe.com/aviation/coupers-tech/
