----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----This is exactly why the debate over what parts you can use on our airplanes is so ridicules. You can’t even get a consistent answer from the FAA FSDO offices. The FSDO office here doesn’t even want a 337 for my strobe light. You would have been better off just installing them and letting it go. No one will even see them.

I am in an unbelievable situation. The San Diego FSDO has refused to approve my 337 for the installation of the MLG spacers. My tail was significantly low and the spacers have brought it up to the correct 75". I have already supplied the FSDO with Bill Coons write-up and the 337 received with the parts from John Cooper. My A&P, AI has explained the added safety of having the spacers installed.
I need help. I would like anyone that has received an approved 337 in the past two years to send me a copy as soon as possible.
If by mail:

If by fax: 760-753-2378 (no cover required, the fax is in my home)
Thanks for your help.
