Wow! Sounds like you have a prewar
coupe. I think the A65 can be converted to an A75, but that will have no
provisions for an electrical system (starter/generator). You may want to
modernize by putting an 85 or even 75 into the coupe with an electrical system
so that you don't have to hand prop to get it started. There are plenty of
qualified A&P mechanics in Texas that can help, but the only one I know that
has specific Ercoupe experience in Mark Hardin at Terrill, east of
Dallas.
