Hey Scott: I am not a cylinder expert, but I have had good luck with
NuChrome. They do not take the cylinder apart to do the chrome job, the chrome
is somewhat softer than the hard chrome cylinders, and if the break-in is done
properly, they last a long time and really reduce oil consumption. They end up
costing about 1/2 what new cylinders cost, so there is some advantage there
too.
