----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----OK, now is the time to remove my header tank and send it to John Wright for repair. I am new to Ercoupes. First, I believe I need to remove the seat to be able to get my 6'3" frame into the airplane and under the panel to do the work. It has the standard seat. Any suggestions on seat removal or is this a no brainer. I also have an original panel with both "glove boxes", a radio, transponder mounted underneath the tank. I have also noted that my tach is slow in responding and not sure of its accuracy, it seems this would be a good time to replace it, any suggestions on that one as well as an airspeed indicator that is 10 MPH fast at 100 mph, what do you recommend on that as well? I think it wise to fix everything on the panel during this process? Thank you all in advance, I have learned a lot from these emails and find that the Ercoupe owners are a very interesting group and not to opinionated either :-)) This is suppose to be the hardest job on the airplane so once this is over with, I will feel I can tackle anything!
