Hey Jan: I agree that I think that service bulletin 32 may be tied to the
center section inspection. Is there a way that the ultrasound inspection can be
done over paint and be reliable? I know of several Coupes that have been
rebuilt, and they have had the center section painted with either zinc chromate
or an epoxy paint to inhibit corrosion. That stuff is hard enough to
remove when you can get to it, but in the center section it would really be
tough.
