The thing that gets termites working in my head, aside from my occasional "thunk" landings, is that time when a spot of turbulence slammed me. I pulled the throttle and had a good ride after that. ...but......... And there are other turbs out there, which can be as nasty as aerobatics. My wife and I agree that we don't want to land at 100 MPH vertically.
