No way, man!  Every time I get near a veterinarian it ends up costing me $180!!!
 
I'm stickin' with my oil can!
 
Seriously, syringes work great for lots of things like injecting grease and oil, sucking hydraulic fluid out of overfilled brake cylinders, and maybe even filling brake systems.
