As a aircraft structual engineer, I have yet to see reasion or proof that a potential problem exists requiresing this type of service bulletin . I hope the FAA will have a clear head when Unavar asks for this bulletin to become an AD.
Not wanting to through cold water, I believe the FAA would like to impose ageing aircraft restrictions so that old A/C will only fly in air shows. Very Sad; none the less my thinking on the subject.
