Ed,
Before I had my prop re-pitched to be an
extreme climb prop, I went up to 7,500’ with a C-152 and we firewalled
the throttle.
It took a couple of minutes before the
C-152 (108 hp engine) pulled a plane length or two ahead of my Ercoupe and its
C-85. We have reason to be proud.
