Sky-tec is lighter and less expensive.
B&C costs more. Some claim it is "better built" but I don't feel that there is a significant difference. Sky-tec has provided better, more responsive customer service to me in the past. The Skytec is PMA approved, but for a pull start conversion you still need to file a 337 for the STC modification to the engine. The B&C is approved by STC in all cases.
