I have a vacuum driven 3-1/8 inch Directional Gyro for sale that I removed from my Alon. This gyro works, but precesses quite a bit so it has to be reset about every 5 minutes. I'm selling this as a core. It is up to the buyer to determine overhaul cost and availability. I believe that this P/N gyro can be rebuilt, but I have not confirmed it. Connections on the back are "Inlet", "Outlet" and "Gauge". This is a modern looking vertical card type DG.
This gyro is rather unusual in that it is only 5.5 inches long instead of the 6.5(+) inch length of many DG's. This makes it easier to install in tight spaces like in our Coupe instrument panels that have the fuel tank right behind them.
The face of the gyro looks good, no discoloration or evidence of clouding.
