I tried polycarbonate once. I wanted its
resistance from cracking and breaking.
The trouble was, with polarized sunglasses,
the polycarbonate make weird colored rainbow blotches. Besides, it got well
scratched from just sliding down and back up once. Most importantly, it wasn’t
possible to use the polarized sunglasses.
But, with Plexiglas, the polarized
sunglasses get rid of most of the reflections so I can see out the window
better. I tossed the polycarbonate and made a new window out of Plexiglas.
