I have been using the Surecheck Micro for over a year. It works quite well considering the price. It of course does not call out the azimuth of the traffic but when you see the bars going RED it will sure get your attention. In the traffic pattern it will show RED a lot but then the expensive ones will also be calling out a lot of 'targets'. With the Micro you will probably not see some of the 'targets' ( it may be a mile above you ) but it makes you aware something is out there. I plug mine into the cigar lighter so I don't have to mess with charging batts. I consider it a valuable safety feature. If you can afford a more expensive unit that of course would be better.
