I would go by the Continental parts manual. The generator and
regulator were originally Continental parts, although they are
considered airframe parts, not power plant parts by the FAA. Bear in
mind that the original Delco parts are no longer available. The
Kelly Aerospace part, VR300-12-20 is a PMA approved replacement.
