Manganese....... this additive is used extensively as a replacement for lead to increase the octane number of
poorer quality auto fuel and possibly also Aviation fuel in some areas. If you want to verify if it is manganese, then take a clear glass bottle, about a litre [Quart} and let it stay in daylight for a few days more or less. If Manganese additive, you will see an orange brown deposit come out of solution. Surprise, surprise.
