Ken, Sorry to hear you are sick...Get up and out, let the sunshine heal
you. Try a couple of teaspoons of apple cider vinegar twice a day. Seems to help
me! Best wishes..get a positive attitude, so you can fly to Terrell, Tx. in
June.
Her is the info I have saved on short plugs....
REgards,
Harry
Glen,
1. I heard that this was a problem too. But the fact is they are readily
available. The unshielded plug Champion M41E is available from Aircraft
Spruce where I got mine.
2. That's what the cups are for. They shield the complete plug and wire
connection.
3. I got mine from Fresno Airparts Co. (great people and low cost as
airparts go) 559-237-4863.
4. I have Slick mags and the harness can be gotten from many mag suppliers
(Slick no. M1780).
5. Sorry, I and a friend (he has the lathe) did mine. It is a little hard to
find the die as it is 5/8-24 thread. But they are out there from big tool
suppliers.
6. Mine is a "Little Beautiful Doll" and she doesn't have bumps. Some have
them and some don't (I'll leave it at that).

Also:
I see that Champion has developed a new plug for Contenental engines
that is shorter than normal. The next time I install new plugs I will
look at this option because my top cowl on the 415-C has a tendency to
rub the plug wire on the front plugs. The cost of the new plug is the
same. Other Coupe owners may also have this minor problem. The plug no.
