Your large Venturi horn produces enough vacuum to power all of your vacuum instruments and then some.
It will not work at taxiing speeds which is where some people like to adjust their DG.
They can buy an electric vacuum pump to solve their problem.
Us older school pilots will set the DG in flight like we were taught to . (and then use the DG on our GPS anyhow.)
The filter on the inlet end of the system is what adjusts the level of vacuum and the quality of the filter, (How clogged up it is) will show on the vacuum gauge, (Suction) . and should be close to the green arc. I have not found a restrictor on my system yet. That would be the technical solution, but one more thing to adjust. (Which Fred did not like to have).
If the vacuum is too high or too low, the first thing you will notice is the artificial horizon will start to tumble sooner.
