I would abstain from installing the venturi under the belly.
they sell a venturi that can be installed under the belly as a pilot
relieving device.
When I see one overhead I dive for cover.
Venturis on the side look OK and best of all, people that hear me land do
not hear my engine but hear the venturi whistling and think a jet is
landing.
I am even thinking of hot-gluing a couple of .22 shells on the back
side of the prop to make a very interesting turbine whistle sound...
