A friend forwarded this to me... glad to see that the passengers,
plane and people on the ground were fine. Given the discussion of
problems the last few weeks, thought I would forward this along.

John

(May 26, 2006)--There were no injuries aboard when a small
two-passenger plane made an emergency landing Friday alongside
Interstate 10 in El Paso.

Texas Department of Transportation officials tell KVIA in El Paso that
the plane carrying two people lost power.

The plane was a 1946 Europe.

Officials say the pilot was able to make a controlled landing beside
the interstate.

Emergency crews say there was no damage to the plane.
