I removed the rudder pedal assembly out of my 415-CD, SN 4623, during the annual and have no need for it so will be selling as a unit. I was very lucky in that nothing was riveted in place. Instead, everything was bolted in, so I only had to unbolt everything & re-connect the cables where they originally were attached behind the seat. I have been told that this assembly is worth in the neighborhood of $1100, so this is somebody's chance to save a little. Included in the sale will be the rudder pedals & bar assembly that attaches to the floor, a cable cover that runs from the firewall to the front of the main spar, two phenolic pulleys that were bolted to the main spar, two phenolic blocks that were bolted to the front of the main spar and acted as guides for the cables, and two wooden spacers that were attached to the cables, one in front of the mast assemby and one behind that are there to keep the cables seperated evenly. I don't know if they
were all this way, but these cables ran above the floor, hence the cable cover, through the main spar & bolted to the cables directly above where they were originally bolted to the mast assembly. I am also including the two pieces of cable that were removed for reference only, as I had to cut an end off each one in order to remove them from the plane. Replacement cables will have to be made up in the airplane, as there is no way to install them through the holes in the spar after the ends are on. Also including two little springs that were attached to the rudder pedals and the firewall and all nuts and bolts for the guides, pulleys and cables. E-mail me directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you are interested and i will respond to all enquiries. I will be shipping them from Atlanta GA.
