Actually, it is due to vibration concerns. The prop and rotating mass of the engine form a resonant system. At the higher RPM's (more frequent power pulses) of the C85 there is a concern that dangerous harmonics could be induced.


What would be the right prop for a C-85. What kind of money do I need to
budget for a prop?

A trim and repitch should run around $250 - $300 Otherwise figure on $1500 - $2000
