My friends

I regret that I must offer up my darlin’ Ercoupe 415-C (1946 model) to be sold.  (Her name is Frolic.)

My health has taken a couple more serious hits, making recovery in the near future seem rather remote.  I got another zap only today.  Now, just trying to make a living and heal my body loads me to the max.  No money or time for flying.  I am over my gross weight, rhetorically speaking.

A fair amount of maintenance and improvement have been invested in the aircraft, but she is, as of last month, out of annual.  The local A&P feels she will need new wing covers before she can get back to inspection worthy status.  Everything else about her should be fine.  She has had 4 solid months of shop work done on her, this year.

I am asking no more than I have invested in her ($15.5K.).  Not a bad price.  Some think it’s a steal.

Details will be provided for those who ask.  She is not listed anywhere, yet, for I would rather put her in the hands of one of “we few, we happy few, we brothers.”

(This includes the gals, of course.  As I am sure you realized, I am merely quoting Shakespeare.)

It has truly been a privilege being a part of this outfit at least for a while.  A real live ‘coupe flyer with my very own bird.  It’s more than anybody really deserves.
