Hey Glen: There are no special procedures to remove the elevator, or
balance requirements either. If you remove the push rod bolt first, then the
trim control wire, you will be able to raise the elevator to a position that
will allow easier access to the nuts on the hinge bolts. Then it is a simple
matter of removing all the hinge screws to remove the elevator.
