Shortly after starting, gas began streaming out the header tank gas cap indicator wire hole - and I do mean a small geyser!  This indicates to me a clogged return line or possibly blocked vents in the wing tank caps.    I also remember posts about a fuel pump restrictor plate.  I shut down and restarted after about 10 minutes.  Same results.  The fact that it takes a few minutes for the geysering to start, indicates the header tank is draining, but very slowly, not fast enough to keep up with the pump.  Fuel level in the wing tanks was about two inches from the top.
Any thoughts on the best place to start?  Obviously I have to be careful not to allow the clog to be transfered to a wing tank where it could block flow to the pump.  Do you think this calls for drastic measures like a complete fuel system disassembly?  The complete fuel system was replumbed and cleaned ten years ago.  It 's only been flown 40 hours since then and only using avgas.  BUT, I just got the STC for mogas and flew it for about 45 minutes with a combination of mogas and avgas.
