Richard thanks for the pictures and info.  Did you convert your wings from metal to fabric, or were they fabric covered before?

Tim, I recently finished recovering my wings and have included two
pictures of the wings, one top view and the other bottom view. You can
see that the top rear of the leading edge sits in a milled area on the
main spar and is flush riveted to the main spar. The bottom side of the
leading edge sits on top of the rear spar and is rivet to it. Both
edges are straight and leading edge of wings are straight. If removed,
and laid flat, the leading edge would be rectangular except for the very
small area on the outboard end where the rounded wing tip extends to
meet it.
I used the Super Flight Urethane system to cover the wings. I have done
three sets of wings this year, Two for Piper PA-12 cubs and my coupe
wings. The pipers were done in Polyfiber. I found that the Super
Flight system was faster and easy to use. The one big appearance item
that I liked is the wings come out with the same gloss finish that you
would get on the fuselage. No fooling around with flatteners etc. to
get the dope to shine more.

Hope this helps. Any questions, please ask.
